Frequently asked questions
Does NotaDraft replace the notary's review?
No. NotaDraft prepares a draft and flags inconsistencies. The notary reviews every field, decides and signs. Legal responsibility for the act stays with the notary.
Which acts can it prepare?
Every type of act: sales, commercial and residential leases, gifts, mortgages, powers of attorney, wills, fredhas and notarial certificates, company formations and share transfers, and more.
Do I need to install anything?
No. NotaDraft runs in the browser. You need a computer, an internet connection, and a scanner or smartphone for the documents.
Do the scans need to be high quality?
A sharp smartphone photo or a scanner PDF is enough. When a field can't be read with confidence, it's flagged for you to check.
Where is my data stored?
In Algeria. Scans are deleted as soon as the act is generated.
Can I use my office's own act template?
Yes. You upload an act your office has already drafted, and NotaDraft turns it into a template it fills automatically.
What counts as a scan?
